Oh look, is that a background? I think it might be..

I fixed a couple of things that didn't look right in the original sketch, mainly Xela's head and face as it was drawn at a bit of an odd angle. Original sketch has now been deleted as it's no longer needed or wanted here. It took me about 3 days to complete this drawing and I very nearly forgot to draw in Xela's blue markings so I had to add them in at the last minute.I did wonder why she looked a little off lol.

Across the highest mountains and through the endless seas
Our journey ever onwards fight until we all be free
Through the darkness shining the never ending light
On through the days of glory rise towards the fight

We stand before the dawn of a new world
~Lyrics from Dawn over a new world by Dragonforce. I think it fits the drawing quite well with the story I had in mind for it.

Because there is a helicopter in the picture, this immediately reminded me of that movie that flopped called Reign of Fire. Upon closer inspection though, I notice the green dragon has dog tags, so I'm thinking maybe its a human that can transform and is part of a military unit? I like the detail in the horns. :)

Just takes practice and perseverance like everything else hun :hug:
This is a relatively new colouring style I've developed. Takes a lot longer, but looks so much nicer. Shame this crappy phone snapshot doesn't really do it any justice.
